Susan Dugan and Bruce Rawles comment in this video on “The Problem and the Answer” – the last section (VIII) of Chapter 11 (from text of A Course in Miracles (T-18:IV). We talked about the how our reactions and interpretations to events in the world either anchor us more fully in ego’s thought system … or free us if we forgive the dreamer, including our resistance to practicing what we intuitively know will work … and undo the dysfunctional identity and it’s maladaptive defenses. The suggested humility opens us to trusting our Inner Kindness Teacher more consistently and helps us realize that this unconditional support is available here and now always in the context of the specifics we’ve made – yet leading us inexorably to the generalization that brings our choosing back to the uncompromising total inclusion that leads us home … to where we’ve never left. :-)
