In this video, Corinne Zupko, author of “From Anxiety to Love: A Radical New Approach for Letting Go of Fear and Finding Lasting Peace” talks about her path and process of overcoming clinical anxiety issues through listening to her “Inner Therapist” using the principles of A Course In Miracles (ACIM). Her book – recommended for both new and seasoned students of “the Course” alike – has excellent reminders of how we all (whether we have clinical or just “garden variety” anxiety) can slowly but surely transcend the fearful propaganda of our inner saboteur (which ACIM calls ego) by trusting the gentle, kind, infinitely patient counsel of our Inner Therapist. In this conversation with fellow Course student, Bruce Rawles, Corinne shares a few examples from her book (also available in a Kindle version) which has an abundance of practical, easily grasped and practiced techniques for honestly looking at the contents of our mind – without condemnation or comparison – and letting go of misinterpretations that don’t serve our real Selves which share the same ultimate goal of unchanging, unshakeable peace. We start with the little willingness to trust our Inner Therapist – which is amplified so we don’t have to do the “heavy lifting” – until our self-forgiveness process matures into a habitual practice of abundant willingness that we grown into. The book has an equally helpful preface by fellow psychotherapist and co-President of the Foundation for Inner Peace, Dr. Bob Rosenthal.
