Thanks to Susan Dugan – BTW, here’s a recent interview Susan did with C. A. Brooks and more of her audios – for alerting me in a recent blog post to this excellent article by Bernard Groom about Ken Wapnick’s life and keeping the teaching that he demonstrated in our awareness. Here’s a short excerpt: “Reality, Heaven, Home is real. Nothing else is. That is where we are, all of us, all the time, in a state we cannot comprehend within the limited, intellectual mind. We cannot ‘think’ through this one. This state ‘here’ that appears outside that perfect place is not true, and not real. Yet we have adopted this extraordinary capacity to make real (seemingly real) what is not real. The power of our minds is such that we can insist on the truth of this separated state, a place of beginnings and endings, to such an extent that we experience it as ‘real’. We have to call this into question.”

Here’s a “new” interview with Ken Wapnick by Amy Torres (from October 2000), which shows the consistency and constancy of his message, and addresses issues such as purification, the happy dream and Jung’s two stages of life.

Doug Sparks and Lyn Corona classes at Rocky Mountain Miracle Center (RMMC)

Doug Sparks is presenting two classes tomorrow at RMMC (2Mar2014): “Make this year different…” at the 11AM gathering, followed by a Workshop from 1- 4 pm entitled: “We have met the enemy and he is us.” – Pogo

Lyn Corona (of the School of Reason) is starting new classes at RMMC: Essential Metaphysics (Three Sat. afternoon classes March 29; April 5, 12, from 2 to 4 pm, with a free intro session March 22, 2 to 3:30 pm) and Living The Course, part II (Eight 2-hour classes Thursdays- March 20, 27; April 3, 10, 17, 24, May 1, 8 from 7 to 9 pm); … all highly recommended!

Lasting Happiness

Here’s a short article by fellow ACIM student and hiker Jim Meissner. Here’s a short excerpt: “To have lasting joy and inner peace you must choose them as your goal and priority. So whatever the situation, you decide in advance to have peace as your goal. Since you have set your goal, you will find the means to achieve it. Just don’t make other goals more important to you or you will have divided and conflicting goals. Without setting your ultimate goal in advance, life will just seem to happen to you and you will seem to be a helpless victim of outside circumstances. That need not be.”
