In this video, “Dr. Bob” a.k.a. Dr. Robert Rosenthal and Bruce Rawles talk about chapter one from Bob’s new book “From Never-Mind to Ever-Mind“. entitled “You Are What you Seek; You Seek What You Are”. This first chapter from Bob’s second non-fiction book aligns with the vital theme of which self or identity we choose as does the first chapter “The Question of Identity: Two Thought Systems” from Bruce’s second book The Geometry Code: Universal Symbolic Mirrors of Natural Laws Within Us; Friendly Reminders of Inclusion to Forgive the Dreamer of Separation. You can read the excerpts “Love Thy Neighbor” and “A Perfect Moment” from Bob’s latest book and Bruce’s review of the book on Amazon. (You can read the first chapter of Bruce’s 2nd book on the GeometryCode.com website here, or the ACIMblog.com website here, either of which includes a free email bulletin subscription.)
At the beginning of the first chapter in Bob’s new book are retellings of the classic, profound parables of looking for a lost house key under a street lamp, and the blind men and an elephant, just in the first few pages. We’re looking for our Real Identity where it cannot be found, and we’re at best only getting a hint of a shadow of the bigger picture.
This chapter alone contains a wealth of insight into our quest for uncovering our Eternal Self presented in a very accessible way with numerous examples relatable to anyone. It addresses the shortcomings of science, religion, and philosophy, memories, values and roles in isolation and without the illuminating non-dual metaphysical context A Course In Miracles (ACIM) provides.
Along with Tamara Morgan – daughter of Judy Whitson, the founder of the Foundation for Inner Peace (FIP) which publishes A Course In Miracles, Dr. Bob is co-president of FIP, as well as the author of From Plagues to Miracles (FPTM) – his prior book about ACIM –which explores the metaphysical metaphors and symbolism of the story of Exodus, available in both paperback and Kindle editions. The book page on his (new) Robert Rosenthal, M.D. website provides an overview of his books, novels and screenplays. Listen to numerous interviews with Dr. Bob here as well on Charlotte Spicer’s BlogTalkRadio channel series.
