ACIMblog bulletin for June 2014:
ACIM Metaphysics Diagrams by Mike Mattheiss
A fellow ACIM student named Mike Mattheiss recently emailed me a link to some diagrams originally based on Ken Wapnick’s teachings, which he has received FACIM approval to distribute). Here’s the link to his “ACIM Materials” site that has the pdf – a cropped portion of which is illustrated above, plus downloads of notes that you might find useful. Thanks, Mike!
Clues to when we’re valuing what is valueless
Here’s a recent video conversation with enthusiasts of the teachings of Kenneth Wapnick: Susan Dugan and Bruce Rawles talk about A Course In Miracles Workbook lesson 133 “I will not value what is valueless.” and other topics inspired by a recent trip to FACIM in Temecula, Calif. The acronym talked about was GIST: Guilt-Individuality-Space-Time; the first item; Guilt is a key element of the ego’s inner shield of oblivion of mindlessness; the other three – Individuality, Space, and Time are aspects of ego’s outer shield of oblivion of (even more) mindlessness – allowing ego’s agenda of perpetual ‘fire-fighting’ in the world to dominate our thinking … and our identity, rather than gently turning the interpretation over to our Inner Kindness Teacher and remember to laugh at the tiny, mad idea of separation. The G.I.S.T. acronym was inspired by reading Ken Wapnick’s “Journey Through The Workbook” for lesson 133, and relates to paragraphs 11, 8-10, 7 and 6 respectively.
Fifty most recent FACIM videos
I recently found a neat plugin (a website add-on) for this website that shows up to 50 thumbnails of videos on a page, so if you’ve been wanting to watch a chronologically sorted collection of Ken Wapnick’s brilliant videos about A Course In Miracles, here’s where you can see them the 50 most recent videos from Foundation for A Course In Miracles on one page. If and when I figure out how to show all of them (since there are over 200 in the playlist as of this bulletin), I’ll update that page to show them all. Enjoy! :-)
