ACIMblog bulletin for March 2014:
Kenneth Wapnick Memorial Tributes
This month’s bulletin will be short, but sweet. Here are numerous heartfelt tributes to our beloved Kenneth Wapnick, sent to the Foundation for A Course In Miracles. This collection of tributes also forms the basis of the quarterly Lighthouse Newsletter for March 2014 as well. I took a few days on my commute train this past week – well worth it! – to read and savor them all; thanks to all the authors who sent them in; I could relate fully to each and every one. Like the melos between the notes, the spirit between the lines of our favorite blue book, and many other wonderful metaphors that Ken shares, the feeling of the appropriate and profound appreciation for our quintessential teacher of ‘the Course’ comes through clearly and eloquently in this worthy outpouring of gratitude. Numerous letters in this collection used the word “demonstrate” to indicate that Ken went way beyond mere intellectual mastery, and truly lived the example of kindness; it was obvious even to those of us who didn’t have the privilege of meeting him ‘in person’ – this quote fits nicely about Ken’s life:
“Teach not that I died in vain. Teach rather that I did not die by demonstrating that I live in you.”
… Tissue alert: I found myself – on more than one occasion – getting a bit ‘misty-eyed’ reading these tributes … but in the best possible way.

Online ACIM study groups and presentations
There are several ongoing ACIM Hangout study groups and meetings; here’s a link to the ACIMExplained YouTube Channel (which has LOTS of wonderful videos) including regular interviews, presentations and online study group meetings. Enjoy, and join in if you feel inspired to share in the fun. Check back regularly on the calendar of upcoming online ACIM Hangouts for new events to participate ‘live’ in, and/or watch later. Here’s a how-to page with best practices for participating in these Google+ Hangouts.
