Beginning in October 2012, Doug Sparks (a long-time student of ACIM and Kenneth Wapnick) will begin teaching a new series of classes in Boulder on A Course in Miracles.
Classes will be offered in eight-week segments, one class per week, two hours per class.
There will be one class Tuesday morning (9:30A – 11:30), with the same material being presented Tuesday evening (6:00P – 8:00).
Participants may register for either morning or evening classes – $80 per eight-week sesssion.
To enroll or for further information contact Nieca Sparks.
THE CORE OF THE COURSE
I. The Thought System: Metaphysics and Mythology
II. A Different God – A Different Jesus
III. Course Symbols and Metaphoric Use of Language
IV. Most Common Mistakes and Misunderstandings
V. The Role of Purpose
VI. Definitions and Terminology
VII. The World of Physicality: The Body, Time and Space
VIII. Practice, Practice, Practice
One of the few claims ACIM makes for itself is that it will save time for its students. It avoids the plethora of common mistakes and misunderstandings that arise for most students. This series of classes will enable participants to move promptly to the simple, eloquent core of the thought system, so that we may quickly begin putting into practice what is being taught.
