In this video, Susan Dugan and Bruce Rawles converse about the ACIM’s Workbook Lesson 126 and the Workbook’s introductory “What is…” question “What is Forgiveness” The conversation included how we insanely and unconsciously attempt to compete and bargain for guilt (since we are – as egos – actually attracted to guilt to maintain our false identity) instead of realizing that the unconscious guilt is actually unfounded – and therefore forgivable – and all we need to do is look (with our Inner Kindness Teacher) at unforgiveness in all it’s various expressions and see that no one deserves condemnation or punishment in the eternal Truth of Being we all share.
Here is an excerpt from the opening paragraph of “What is Forgiveness:
“Forgiveness recognizes what you thought your brother did to you has not occurred. It does not pardon sins and make them real. It sees there was no sin. And in that view are all your sins forgiven. What is sin, except a false idea about God’s Son? Forgiveness merely sees its falsity, and therefore lets it go. What then is free to take its place is now the Will of God.”
